Anna Doble is Digital Editor at the BBC World Service, steering online, social, video and podcast content for English language programmes. Before that Anna was Digital Editor at Radio 1 Newsbeat and Head of Online at Channel 4 News. At C4 she led a series of innovative digital investigations including the RTS-winning No Go Britain, a crowdsourced project looking at access to public transport for the disabled, and the Data Baby, an exploration of an imaginary woman's digital footprint. In her current role she has focused on building communities around podcasts, including the award-winning Death in Ice Valley Facebook group.  And she leads on audio visualisation within BBC News. She began her career as a news reader and reporter in commercial radio and later at Independent Radio News.
