Oriol Jiménez was born in Barcelona. Showing an interest in computers from an early age, he has worked in as a backend consultant for Shell and other mid-sized companies around Barcelona.
With the take-off of smartphones, Jiménez started to develop Android apps as a consultant in Barcelona and San Francisco. In 2011, he was a consultant for a local radio station in Barcelona and started to develope a software to automate podcast recordings for radio. He started to realice that this could be useful for other radio stations as well. Subsquently, Jiménez launched the Enacast Podcast System product and his journey throughout the podcasting world began.
