Maria is currently Podcast Editor at Bauer Media, where she oversees everything from The Empire Film Podcast to Frank Skinner’s Poetry Podcast. She started her career at BBC Radio 1, before moving to BBC Radio 4 where she was Deputy Editor of Woman’s Hour and launched the award-winning Saturday Live. Maria’s other roles include Head of Programmes at Wise Buddah, Head of Development at Loftus Media, and she is proud to have been the founder of Sound Women – set up to develop and celebrate women in audio and radio.
