Jeffrey Cranor co-writes the podcasts Welcome to Night Vale and Within the Wires. He co-wrote with Joseph Fink the novels Welcome to Night Vale and It Devours! He co-hosts with Joseph Fink Start With This, a podcast about writing. An alumnus of the performance art collective the New York Neo-Futurists, Jeffrey also creates theater and dance with choreographer (and wife) Jillian Sweeney.
WELCOME TO NIGHT VALE is a twice-monthly podcast in the style of community updates for the small desert town of Night Vale. The series began in 2012. Episodes are typically 20 to 30 minutes long, with heavy themes of surreal humor and horror.
